| | Mission: | NEON is a statewide membership organization for small and micro business development programs which support enterprise opportunities for individuals and communities with limited access to economic resources. NEON is governed by a 7-member executive committee which is elected by NEON member-organizations. NEON holds a statewide annual meeting that provides training for members' staff in serving the microlending and training needs of Nebraska micro businesses and addresses public policy issues affecting the state's micro business and self-employment sector; this meeting also serves as NEON's annual business meeting.

| | Target Population: | Any organization, agency or individual is eligible to join. Annual dues are $50 per year.

TECHNICAL SERVICES |
| | Training and Services: | NEON provides staff training and an information clearinghouse for its member-organizations as described above. It provides a newsletter and also serves as a policy voice for Nebraska's micro business and self-employed sectors.
