PROGRAM INFORMATION
	Start Date:	Fall 1994
	Mission:	Create opportunities for individuals to improve their self-sufficiency through self-employment; promote economic growth in South Omaha through development of small business enterprises
	Funding Sources:	Community Block Grants, NE Partnership, United Way venture grant
	Application Process:	Present a completed business plan and loan request to program. Package will be reviewed by program staff and a determination made. Loan requests $5,000 and over will also be reviewed by an independent bank loan officer
CLIENTELE
	Target Population:	South Omaha resident above age 18, all backgrounds, primarily Hispanic, low to moderate income levels

	Types of Loans:	From 12 to 36 months, based on amount
	Loan Eligibility:	Training completed, or must have been in business at least 3 years & filed federal tax returns for those 3 years
